Dates announced for Coastal Bend College Board of Trustees election

Coastal Bend College Board of Trustees approved order calls for an election to be held on May 12 for Place 6, currently held by Carroll Lohse, and Place 7, currently held by Laura Fischer, in compliance with the state election law calendar. Both are full terms.

The election schedule follows:

First day to file for a place on the ballot         Feb. 4

Last day to file for a place on the ballot         March 5

Last day to order general election                  March 5

First day to apply for ballot by mail               March 13

Last day to apply for ballot by mail                May 4

First day of early voting                                 April 30

Last day of early voting                                  May 8
