Members from the community and surrounding areas are invited to attend Coastal Bend College’s (CBC) Spring Fest event on Thursday, April 13 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Spring Fest is a free community appreciation event that will feature free games and activities for children of all ages.
A cake walk, ring toss and other interactive activities will be available for children to participate in at Spring Fest. A DJ will be available to keep the crowd entertained throughout the event. In addition, a mariachi performance and dance performance will also take place.
Community partners will be on hand to provide attendees with information regarding their services. The following community partners will be in attendance: Texas Workforce Commission, the Boys & Girls Club of Alice, CBC Nursing Department, Alice Police Department, CBC Welding Club, CBC Science Department, Community Action Corporation of South Texas, Jim Wells County Sherriff’s Department, Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, Alice Fire Department, Think Design, U. S. Army, O. S. A. R., C3 Car Club and CBC TRIO Talent Search.
