SBA offers free record keeping workshop in Beeville

Coastal Bend College and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will offer an afternoon workshop SBA Access to Capital and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Recordkeeping Seminar on Oct. 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at CBC Lott-Canada Facility, located at 900 W. Corpus Christi St. (Highway 59 West) in Beeville. There is no cost to attend, but you must reserve a seat. Funny faces are focus of upcoming workshop

Lorin Bernsen, a Coastal Bend College graduate, will lead a workshop on caricatures for art students on April 6, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the Barnhart Workshop Series. It will be held at the Frank Jostes Visual Arts Building in Beeville. Bernsen will demonstrate drawing and air brushing techniques and talk about caricatures with students and guests during the daylong open entry workshop.
