CBC Volleyball Game Recaps: Oct. 16-21

Wharton County Junior College In a conference match up, Coastal Bend College’s volleyball team hosted Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) on Friday, October 16 in the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center (gymnasium). The Cougars pushed the game to four sets, but they were unable to defeat WCJC. CBC fell to WCJC 14-25, 30-28, 17-25 and 16-25. Register Now for Spring

Students planning to attend classes at Coastal Bend College starting in January 2012 may register now at www.coastalbend.edu. A bacterial meningitis vaccination, with the last shot in the series administered no less than ten days before the start of classes, is required for new and transfer students and those returning after a break of at least one semester. Students can apply to CBC at ApplyTexas.org

Future Coastal Bend College students can now apply online at www.Applytexas.org. A single application can be submitted to most public Texas colleges and universities.

Coastal Bend College makes immediate changes to immunization policy in line with new state law

Beginning Spring 2012 semester, a new state law requires all students entering institutions of higher education to show evidence of receiving a bacterial meningitis vaccination or booster dose during the five year period prior to enrollment and not less than ten days before the first day of the semester. Entering students include transfer students from other colleges and returning or continuing students who have had a break in enrollment of at least one fall or spring semester.
