Beeville dance team James and Kathy Taylor, joined by their friend, Las Vegas musical impressionist Carme Pitrello, will performance for the Beeville Concert Association’s final program of this season on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gertrude R. Jones Performing Arts Auditorium at Coastal Bend College in Beeville.
The Taylors have performed with Carme on cruise ships and in Las Vegas shows.
In Beeville, the Taylors offer dance instruction at the downtown Dance Studio. A few of their top students will preview their upcoming May 19 patriotic recital as part of the show.
Las Vegas comes to Beeville on March 23, when musical impressionist Carme Pitrello and his friends James and Kathy Taylor, local dance instructors and cruise ship performers, present the final program of the season for the Beeville Concert Association. The show is at 7:30 pm in the Gertrude R. Jones Performing Arts Auditorium inBeeville.
The three renowned performers will present musical acts from their years of night club and cruise ship shows.
A few of the Taylors’ top dance students will preview their May 19 patriotic recital at CBC and showcase the instruction the experienced dance team has provided for them.
Italian baritone Carme is one of the most versatile performers to have ever worked the Las Vegas strip, billing himself as a “Las Vegas Original.” Carme’s Vintage Vegas show includes playful impressions of famous entertainers such as Johnny Cash, Elvis, Willie Nelson, Julio Iglesias, Tom Jones, Louis Armstrong, Sammy Davis and Dean Martin.
The Beeville Community Chorus will be presenting their annual talent show on Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. The show will be in the Gertrude R. Jones Auditorium. Admission for the show is $10 and may be purchased at the door.
There will be a silent auction during the evening in Room B-106. The silent auction opens 30 minutes before show time, during intermission, and 30 minutes at the conclusion of the show.

Coastal Bend College Kids College will perform the KC Finale on Thursday, June 30 at 11:30 a.m. in the Gertrude R. Jones Auditorium in Beeville. The show will celebrate the theme, “Go Green,” and feature music, dance and entertainment. Participants will perform “The Environmental Show.” The free show is open to the general public.
Tickets are on sale now for Once Upon a Mattress at Gertrude R. Jones Auditorium. Evening performances are April 28, 29, 30 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on May 1 at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.coastalbend.edu or in the theater office.
