Coastal Bend College to promote smart money management skills among college students

Coastal Bend College will host Making It Count’s “Ultimate Money Skills: College,” a financial success presentation about management skills. Making It Count, an educational service provider for students and a business unit of Monster Worldwide Inc. is teaming up with Bank of America, one of the world’s largest financial institutions to provide the free presentation on the Oct. 5, 11 a.m. to noon, at the Gertrude R. Jones Auditorium. Free lunch will be provided to participating students.

Adult Education and Family Literacy Week is Sept. 13-19

Coastal Bend College will celebrate Adult Education and Family Literacy Week at CBC Lott-Canada Facility on Sept. 16 with classroom tours between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., followed by a reception at 10 a.m. The event is open to the public.
