Each college student who attends Coastal Bend College (CBC) wishes to leave their “mark” on the College. CBC art students Conor Lee and Samantha Silva were no different. The students wanted to leave a lasting token of their appreciation for the College who has so graciously provided them with an opportunity to pursue a higher education.

The students, with assistance from CBC Art Professor Jayne Duryea, planned and created the mural over the course of the spring 2017 semester. The mural was completed on Thursday, May 4 and is now on display inside one of the weight rooms located at CBC Beeville’s Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center (gym).
