SHOP AMAZON AND HELP THE COASTAL BEND COLLEGE FOUNDATION

It’s time to smile because there’s a quick and easy way you can help us here at the Coastal Bend College Foundation, and you can do it without donating while you’re doing something you probably already do on a regular basis. 

Do you regularly shop on Amazon? If so, you can help generate donations for the Coastal Bend College Foundation simply by shopping. 

AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser and can be activated in the Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android phones. When you shop with AmazonSmile, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added benefit that AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. 

To use AmazonSmile, simply go to smile.amazon.com on your web browser or activate AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping app on your iOS or Android phone within the Settings or Programs & Features menu. In order for web orders to generate donations, shoppers must shop at smile.amazon.com. To generate donations through the Amazon Shopping app, users must activate the option in the settings. 

AmazonSmile is available on your current account. Your shopping cart, wish list, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings will also remain the same. 

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges. 

The Coastal Bend College Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is listed as an eligible organization through the AmazonSmile program.

Our goal is to reach 100 supporters through the AmazonSmile program by the end of 2022. As of Oct. 1, the Coastal Bend College Foundation had 36 supporters who had designation the organization as their primary beneficiary through the program.
