Coastal Bend College to Partner with Crossroads for Free GED Classes

Coastal Bend College has partnered with Crossroads to provide free High School Equivalency (HSE/GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Texas Success Initiative (TSI) courses. Each of these courses is offered online, live with an instructor, with some in-person options available.

High school equivalency classes develop the reading, writing, and math skills needed to pass a Texas High School Equivalency Exam. English as a Second Language teaches individuals that have a different language as their primary language and the Texas Success Initiative course prepares students to pass the TSI exam to enter into college-ready status.

Coastal Bend College will be hosting registration days for High School Equivalency on Tuesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 27 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the George F. Elam Technical-Vocational Building, Room 125.
