Courtesy of a shutout of then #3 ranked Tyler Junior College, Harry Scott has earned NJCAA Division I Soccer’s National Goal Keeper of the Week for the week of April 5th – April 11th. The freshman from Barnsley, England corralled all nine of the Apache shots-on-goal to seal the upset. It marks his second win in the pipes this season over a nationally ranked opponent having also secured the victory of then ranked #13 North East Texas Community College on April 2nd.
Scott becomes the first Cougar footballer to earn NGOW honors since Matthew Shorrocks received the award back in September of 2017. Shorrocks also defeated a number one ranked Tyler Junior College to earn the honor.
