Coastal Bend College Dual Enrollment 2020 Spring Graduates: Refugio High School

Coastal Bend College (CBC) congratulates spring 2020 dual enrollment graduates from Refugio High School.

CBC’s Dual Enrollment Program provides eligible high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit while they are still in high school. This opportunity jump-starts their college career and shortens their time to college graduation, while also reducing their future college expenses. As a participant in the dual enrollment program, students have the opportunity to pursue transferrable college credit and/or obtain an associate’s degree or workforce certificate.

Refugio High School students who earned a degree and/or certificate from Coastal Bend College include:

Chloe Alyssa Boxell, Highest Honors, PTK- Associate of Science

Julianna Renee Castellano, Highest Honors, PTK- Associate of Science

PTK is the largest academic honor society in higher education, recognizing the academic excellence of students attending associate degree-granting colleges. Members include diverse individuals who share a common commitment to learning and a proven record of academic success.

Honors are awarded only to those receiving Associate Degrees. The official honors designation, which includes the calculation of the current semester’s grades, will be indicated on the final transcript and diploma.

A student’s GPA is calculated on a 4.0 scale.
