There’s’ Still Time to Apply to CBC; Financial Aid Still Available

Thanks for your interest in applying to Coastal Bend College. Remember, CBC is an open enrollment institution. That means that we don’t require specific test scores or GPAs for a student to be admitted to the College. However, students interested in applying to Coastal Bend College must be a high school graduate or possess a high school equivalency (such as a GED). Oh, and what about the cost to apply? We think college should be accessible to everyone so we’re committed to keeping our application FREE to all students.

How to Apply to CBC

  • Apply using the online application at applytexas.org
    • Create an account
    • Click on “My Applications”
      • Select two-year community college
        • Choose: Coastal Bend College
    • Complete
    • Submit
    • Please be sure to include your Social Security Number and a valid email. 
    • Your account will be created automatically upon submission. 
    • You will receive an email to confirm your application has been received from Admissions.
  • Send your official transcript to the Admissions Office
    • Mail your official high school, GED, or college transcripts to CBC’s Office of Admissions.
      • Address: 3800 Charco Road, Beeville, Texas 78102
  • Submit your financial aid online at fafsa.gov
    • Use school code: 003546
  • Submit your meningitis Record to Admissions (Students age 21 and under)

After you Apply

After you apply, please have your official high school transcript/high school equivalency to the Admissions Office. Once that is received, we’ll send your acceptance letter via email and mail to your home address. Make sure that you refer back to your admission checklist for your next steps.
