Coastal Bend College has a program that makes it easy to take high-quality, noncredit online courses. Coastal Bend College has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online, instructor-led courses and is pleased to announce the launch of “SAT/ACT Prep Series.”
This two-part series will help students learn how to master verbal and math questions on the SAT and ACT. The first part focuses on verbal questions including the ACT verbal sections (Reading Test, English Test, and Science Test). The focus is on grammar and grammar usage to help you study the rules that will be tested. The second part focuses on the mat questions for the ACT and the new version of the SAT. The ACT math test focuses on knowledge of basic statistics, geometry, algebra, and trigonometry.
This course is part of Coastal Bend College’s growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And they can access the classroom 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.
New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.

This course offers fun and informative modules that will help you learn how to play guitar through the use of audio and video recordings, hands-on exercises, and more. Practice makes perfect and this course provides a guided method for practicing.
Health includes the mind, body and spirit. Through this course, students will learn about the stages of health and illness and how to explore total health including methods like yoga, positive attitude, hydrotherapy, natural remedies, and more.
