Coastal Bend College Introduces Online Course: NASM Certified Nutrition Coach

Coastal Bend College has a program that makes it easy to take high-quality, noncredit online courses. Coastal Bend College has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online, instructor-led courses and is pleased to announce the launch of “NASM Certified Nutrition Coach” along with the exam. Participants will go step-by-step to learn about every aspect of health and fitness with confidence. Along with working out, healthy eating patterns can help make a long term behavior change.

This course is part of Coastal Bend College’s growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Start a Pet Sitting Business

Do you love animals? Learn how to get on the path of opening your own pet sitting business. Included in this course is pet care, first aid, and handling home visits to impress clients. Pet care includes identification of common diseases, exercise, first aid, and nutrition. After learning first aid, you will learn how to give injections to an uncooperative cat/dog, how to administer pills and liquid medications. At the end of the course, you will learn how to set up the business aspect of the pet sitting business including explore start-up costs, accounting, business plans, and developing a marketing plan.
