A Thanksgiving Message from the President

As we near the end of the semester, the Thanksgiving holiday break is a great time to pause and reflect. Our students, faculty, and staff have worked hard this semester and the fruits of that hard work will be in full view at this year’s fall commencement and nurse pinning ceremony. 

 Traditionally, Thanksgiving is a time where we gather with our friends and family. Many of us at Coastal Bend College consider their colleagues as an extended family, a work family. We teach together, support one another, study together, and work together. We depend on one another to achieve the shared mission and goal of Coastal Bend College.

 We at Coastal Bend College are thankful for the good work that has been done to help our students change their lives and achieve their goals. In times of transition, we are thankful that we as a college have remained true to our mission and we have faculty and staff who are motivated and dedicated. 

 We have a lot to be thankful for and it’s important to reflect on the past and remember the good. I want to extend my personal thanks to all of you for your continued support of Coastal Bend College. Be safe and enjoy the Thanksgiving break with your family and friends.
