Members of the community from Beeville and the surrounding areas are invited to attend Coastal Bend College’s (CBC) July 4th Celebration. This free event is taking place at the CBC Beeville location and was made possible through donations from Angel Care, Kicker 106 and HEB.

The free family friendly event is set to take place on Tuesday, July 4 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. A local celebrity softball game is slated to take place at Joe Hunter Field at 5:30 p.m. with an HEB sponsored hot dog eating contest taking place immediately following the game.

A friendly softball game between the College and Beeville Independent School District (ISD) will take place at 7:30. CBC is also proud to announce a Beeville Little League softball game for the challenger division at 8:30 p.m.

In addition, community members are invited to attend a fireworks display, which will take place at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks display will be set up in front of the College and event goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to view the display from the grassy area south of the College’s LED sign. College officials will be on hand to usher community members to the specified area.
