Storms Force City of Beeville to Place Water Conservation Measures into Effect

Contact: Bernie Saenz, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, (361) 354-2258

Beeville–Severe water conservation measures have been put in place for Beeville City residents and persons using the City of Beeville Water Supply.

Severe storms passed through the area last night causing tree limbs to fall on power lines.  This loss of power has affected the power supply at the Sweeny Switch water treatment and distribution facility. AEP is working diligently to restore power to the area.

Until the power is restored and the treatment and distribution is back in operation residents are requested to minimize their use of water. Water should only be used for consumption purposes.

Until further notice, please be prepared to boil water after 11:00am.
