Coastal Bend College (CBC) recently hosted an Employer Workshop for current students. The workshop was held in the R. W. Dirks Student Services Building and featured representatives from local businesses.
Representatives who attended the workshop to speak with students included: Woodforest National Bank Branch Manager Henry Trevino; Woodforest National Bank Assistant Manager Crystal Thompson; Full Circle Village Owner/Manager Karen West; Full Circle Village Assistant Manager Valkena Wharton; Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Investigator Terry Burton; and Park-Breidenbach Properties Owner/Broker Debra Park.
The workshop spanned two hours and covered various topics that students will need to practice before searching for a job. Topics of discussion included: job interview preparations, interview question examples, occupation role/responsibility and mock interviews.
CBC prides itself in providing students with an excellent education and preparation for the next step in each student’s future.
