Coastal Bend College (CBC) will be observing Domestic Violence Awareness Month. CBC’s Student Dental Hygiene Association is sponsoring a supply drive with all supplies collected benefitting the Women’s Shelter of South Texas. The supply drive is scheduled to take place throughout the month of October and will feature a donation station inside of the James R. Dougherty, Jr. Dental Technology Building.

CBC’s Student Dental Hygiene Association members are asking for community members to donate the following unused/sealed items: toiletries (deodorant, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, baby soap, baby shampoo, wash cloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) pillows, pillow cases, socks (women & children), pregnancy test, and plastic kitchenware/cutlery.
