Headline: CBC to host Cougar Night Evening Orientation Events in August

Coastal Bend College (CBC) invites prospective students from the community and surrounding areas to attend CBC’s Cougar Night Evening Orientation events throughout the month of August. The orientation events will take place at all CBC locations including the Beeville, Alice, Kingsville and Pleasanton sites.

In order to better serve prospective students, each of the Cougar Night Evening Orientation events will take place from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. inside of the Student Success Center (SSC). The evening orientations are scheduled to take place:

• CBC Pleasanton: Wednesday, August 3
• CBC Kingsville: Tuesday, August 9
• CBC Beeville: Thursday, August 11
• CBC Alice: Tuesday, August 16

Interested students who attend the evening registration event will gain valuable information regarding services provided to students at all CBC locations. The following topics will be covered at the evening orientation event: student services, tutoring, student life, study tips, Blackboard and student email.

Students are encouraged to complete and submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. The FAFSA can be found online at www.fafsa.gov and students should use CBC’s school code number of 003546 to ensure the College receives their application.
