Headline: Veteran’s Priority Registration Day set to take place at CBC Pleasanton on June 21
The Coastal Bend College (CBC) Pleasanton site is hosting a Veteran’s Priority Registration Day on Tuesday, June 21 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. CBC Pleasanton’s registration event will take place inside of the Student Success Center (SSC), which is located at 1411 Bensdale.
CBC Pleasanton is committed to ensuring that veterans and their eligible dependents gain access to a high-quality, affordable education. Representatives from the Office of Veterans Affairs will be available to speak with veterans and/or eligible dependents about the various academic and workforce programs that are available at the CBC Pleasanton site. In addition, prospective students will receive one-on-one assistance with the CBC admissions application and financial aid application.
As a Military Friendly School, CBC Pleasanton offers a myriad of services that help veterans utilize their educational benefits. The College participates in various educational programs that are provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs including:
- Chapter 30: Montgomery G. I. Bill Active Duty Educational Assistance Program
- Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation Program
- Chapter 33: Post-911 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2009
- Chapter 35: Survivors and Dependent Educational Assistance Program
- Chapter 1606: Selected Reserve Educational Assistance Program
- Hazlewood Exemption
