Pioneer Natural Resources recently donated a Fann Model 50 high temperature, high pressure, rotational viscometer to the Beeville Campus of Coastal Bend College. This type of viscometer is commonly used to measure the viscosity of oil well drilling and stimulation fluids. Students enrolled in oil and gas or process technology classes at the college will benefit from learning to use the equipment.
