Students interested in applying to the Coastal Bend College (CBC) radiologic technology program should plan to attend a free information session on Tuesday, April 5 from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
The session will be held in the George F. Elam Building in room 110 on the Beeville campus, as well as room 103 in Alice, room 119 in Kingsville, and room 140 in Pleasanton.
CBC’s radiologic technology program is one of three allied health programs offered — the other two are dental hygiene and nursing. The radiologic technology program accepts 15 students annually and takes two years to complete. The median annual salary for radiologic technologists in the Coastal Bend region is over $57,000 according to 2014 data from the United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
