Headline: CBC Pleasanton partners with Workforce Solutions Alamo to host free Career Fair

The Coastal Bend College (CBC) Pleasanton site, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Alamo (WFSA), is hosting the CBC Career Fair on Monday, April 18. This free event is slated to take place from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. inside of CBC Pleasanton’s foyer, which is located at 1411 Bensdale.

CBC Pleasanton’s Career Fair will provide attendees with the opportunity to attend workshop sessions. Each workshop session provided by WFSA will feature career-oriented topics. WFSA will provide attendees with the following workshops in room 106:

• 10:30 a.m.- 11:15 a.m.: Resume Writing
• 11:15 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.: Dress for Success
• 12:30 p.m.- 1:15 p.m.: Interview Techniques

Job seekers who plan on attending this event are highly encouraged to dress in professional attire and bring several copies of their resume and portfolio, if applicable.

In order to attend CBC’s Career Fair, employers will need to fill out the registration form online at www.coastalbend.edu/pleasantoncareerfair/. No registration fee is required for employers to take part in CBC’s Career Fair.

Employers who are unable to attend the career fair are encouraged to post job announcements on the College’s online database at www.myinterfase.com/coastalbend/employer/. Job vacancies may be posted at any time of the year for free. This online database is currently accessible by all CBC students.
