CBC Pleasanton Cougar College Day set for Feb. 17

The Coastal Bend College (CBC) Pleasanton site is hosting a Cougar College Day for students who are planning on attending CBC in the fall 2016 semester. Cougar College Day is a fun, informative event where students have the opportunity to learn information that will be beneficial in their first year of college.

WHAT:                  CBC Pleasanton’s Cougar College Day

WHEN:                  Wednesday, February 17, 8:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.

WHERE:               CBC Pleasanton Site:  1411 Bensdale, Pleasanton, Texas 78064

WHO:                     Texas Rep. Ryan Guillen; CBC President Dr. Beatriz T. Espinoza; Dean of Workforce Training and Pleasanton Site Director Julia Garcia; CBC Executive Dean of Student Services Lupe Ganceres; High school students from the surrounding area

PHOTO OPP:    9:15 a.m.: Texas Rep. Ryan Guillen is set to speak to attendees

                            9:50 a.m.: Concurrent information sessions are scheduled to take place

1 p.m.: Tours of the CBC Pleasanton site, classrooms and mobile trailers
