Headline: CBC employees recognized for years of service to college
Coastal Bend College (CBC) honored faculty and staff members for their years of service to the College in a ceremony held on Feb. 5. The following dedicated employees have achieved milestones in their career at CBC and were recognized for their service:
- Five year service awards: Welding Instructor Rolando Chavarria; Enrollment Specialist I Brenda Gaskins; Preschool Teacher Guadalupe Gonzales; Grants Reporting Accountant Amberlee Johnson; Assistant Professor of Mathematics Cheon-Sig Lee; Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology Richard Olivares; and Assistant Professor of Computer Information Technology Leonard Scott
- Ten year service awards: TRIO Upward Bound Project Director Cheryl Baird; Director of Admissions/ Registrar Candy Fuller; Associate Professor of Oil & Gas Roy Coley; Testing Specialist Sandra Mendez; and Associate Professor of English Lewis Jaimes
- Fifteen year service awards: Groundskeeper Supervisor Timothy Bennett and Nursing Professor Karyn Mills
- Twenty year service award: Professor of Cosmetology Victoria Villarreal
- Twenty-five year service awards: Enrollment Specialist III Tina Casarez and Director of Human Resources Denice Hadwin
- Thirty-five year service awards: Circulation Specialist Ray Benavides and Environmental Health Safety & Custodial Supervisor Della De La Garza
