This year marks Coastal Bend College’s (CBC) 50^th year in providing higher education and career opportunities to South Texas. In celebration of this milestone, the CBC Foundation is hosting a CBC 50^th Anniversary Gala to benefit students and programs at all CBC locations.

The fundraising event is set to take place on Saturday, November 14 at 3800 Charco Road in the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center (gymnasium). Festivities kick-off at 6:30 pm with dinner from Werner’s Steakhouse, a keynote address, silent and live auctions, comedian Mike Hickman, and live music by The Gary Glenn Band. Tickets are $50 each.

VIP tickets that include valet parking, preferred seating and access to a VIP cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception from 5:30-6:30 pm are also available for $100.

Former Texas Agriculture Commissioner and current president of the Texas Oil & Gas Association, Todd Staples, is the keynote speaker for the gala.
