Headline: Coastal Bend College awards scholarships to Mathis High School graduates
Coastal Bend College (CBC) continues to provide students in the surrounding areas with the opportunity to pursue a higher education. CBC awarded three graduating seniors from Mathis High School with CBC Scholarshipsfor their academic achievements throughout high school. The CBC Scholarship is worth $1,600 ($400 a semester) at CBC.
The CBC Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who plan on attending CBC in the fall. CBC’s scholarships are renewable for up to four semesters (two years) at any of CBC’s four locations including Beeville, Alice, Kingsville and Pleasanton. Students who receive a CBC scholarship must complete 12 credit hours per semester as well as maintain the appropriate grade point average to continue renewing their respective scholarship.

CBC’s scholarships will offset the costs of pursuing a higher education for students as well as their families. Students who attend CBC also have the opportunity to utilize outside scholarships as well as financial aid to offset the majority of the expenses.
