Jacksonville, TX- The Coastal Bend College (CBC) men’s basketball team is heading to the second round of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 14 Basketball Championship Tournament being held in Jacksonville, Texas.

On March 3, 11th seeded CBC upset 6th seeded Kilgore College with a 58-52 victory. This victory not only advances CBC to the quarterfinals round of the tournament, but it also marks a new milestone in CBC Athletics—the 2015 CBC men’s basketball team is the first CBC basketball team to advance to the second round of post-season play.

CBC jumps back into post-season action when they take on 3rd seeded Navarro College on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 8 p.m. in Jacksonville, Texas.
