The Coastal Bend College (CBC) Dental Hygiene Program invites the community to take advantage of the low cost dental care services available at the college. The CBC Dental Hygiene clinic offers reduced priced services to help increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining good oral health and hygiene. Dental hygienists are available to see patients on Mondays and Wednesdays for preventative dental care.
Services available include teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments, dental x-rays, site – specific antimicrobial placement and pit/fissure sealants placement.
“Utilizing the CBC Dental Hygiene Clinic can save individuals hundreds of dollars. The students and program faculty are proud to offer high quality preventative services that put affordable dental care within everyone’s reach. We also conduct outreach programs at various elementary schools because all of us in the dental hygiene division feel strongly about giving back to the community. Our program is going strong, and the students are off to a fantastic start this semester,” said CBC Dental Hygiene Program Director Connie Griffin.
