Coastal Bend College is proud to host the 3rd Annual CommUNITY Spring Fest on Wednesday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the CBC Beeville campus. Families and community members can enjoy free games, activities, and entertainment, in addition to an egg hunt for children ages 0-10. The egg hunt will be at 6:00 p.m. for children ages 0-3, at 6:30 p.m. for children ages 4-6, and the glow in the dark egg hunt will be at 8:00 p.m. for children ages 7-10. The egg hunt, game prizes, and several door prizes are being sponsored by the Coastal Bend College Foundation, which is a non-profit organization committed to supporting student success and innovative teaching initiatives at all CBC locations.
“The CBC Foundation is pleased to be sponsoring Spring Fest because it is a fabulous showcase of Coastal Bend College’s commitment to our community and students – present and future! This event is truly made possible because of the outstanding generosity of our Beeville community, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with CBC and all our wonderful businesses, leaders, and outstanding citizens. This event highlights what we can accomplish when we all work together,” said Patricia Patel, CBC Foundation Executive Director.
A coloring contest will also be held during CBC’s CommUNITY Spring Fest, and the male and female grand prize winners in each age division (0-4, 5-8, and 9-12 years old) will win Easter baskets and have their artwork featured in the upcoming issue of the CBC Forum—a quarterly magazine highlighting the achievements of CBC students, faculty, and programs.
Free food sponsored by the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) of Beeville will be available to the first 500 attendees, while supplies last. Sunrise Vending and Vanguard Resources, Inc. are also donating free beverages and cookies, respectively, to the first 500 attendees.
