CBC announces evening registration dates

Course registration for the spring 2014 semester at Coastal Bend College is open from now through January 10, 2014.

Students may register online at http://www.coastalbend.edu through Campus Connect or in person at CBC’s locations in Beeville, Alice, Kingsville, or Pleasanton. Spring classes begin Monday, January 13, 2014, but students are encouraged to register as soon as possible because some classes fill quickly.

In addition to offering assistance with registration during normal business hours, all CBC sites will be open until 7 p.m. for extended/evening registration on December 10, 11, and 16. CBC staff will be on hand to assist with the admissions application, financial aid, advising/registration, and tuition and fees payments. The payment deadline for the spring 2014 semester is January 3, and there are payment plans available.

Due to mandates required by Texas Senate Bill 62, all new incoming students who are 21 years of age or younger will need to show proof of a meningitis vaccination at least 10 days prior to the first day of classes. Students will not be able to register until proof is presented of vaccination or of a booster during the five-year period prior to enrollment.

There are other exemptions including enrolling in only online classes, age (over 22), medical issues and/or reasons of conscience (including religious reasons).
