Coastal Bend College sophomore student athlete La’Darrien Williams has signed a letter of intent to play Division I college basketball with Abilene Christian University. Williams is joined above by CBC Head Men’s Basketball Coach Larry Mendez and CBC Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Colt Walker. Williams is from Austin, Texas and is the son of Patricia Wright and John Williams. He plans to continue majoring in kinesiology when he transfers to Abilene Christian University this fall, and he hopes to eventually become a basketball coach.
