Coastal Bend College soccer team headed to NJCAA Region Championship

Coastal Bend College Men’s Soccer team advanced to regional playoffs recently. NJCAA Men’s Soccer Region Championship will be played at Tyler Junior College on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 28-29). The schedule follows.

 Semi Finals (Friday)

Semi Final I Game: Oct. 28, 4 p.m., San Jacinto College vs. Coastal Bend College

 Semi Final II: Oct. 28, 6 p.m., Tyler Junior College vs. Lon Morris College

 Championship (Saturday)

Oct. 29, 2 p.m., Winner of Semi Final I vs. Winner of Semi Final II

 CBC soccer season breaks down as follows:

Coastal Bend College vs. Tyler Junior College                          0-9, 1-4

Coastal Bend College vs. San Jacinto College                           1-6, 0-6

Coastal Bend College vs. Lon Morris College                           3-1, 0-1

Coastal Bend College vs. Northeast Texas Community College           4-1, 1-3

 CBC competes in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 14 sport in men’s soccer, men’s basketball, women’s softball and women’s volleyball.
