Coastal Bend Blood Center will bring the bloodmobile to Coastal Bend College – Alice Campus in Beeville on Oct. 31, from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot. Students and community members are encouraged to stop by and give blood. Donations help patients in area hospitals and cancer centers.
“Your support shows your commitment to our community and your understanding of the importance of maintaining an adequate blood supply,” said Leticia Mondragon, Coastal Bend Blood Center Donor Development and Public Relations specialist. Donated blood and its components are used for trauma victims, heart surgeries, organ transplants and patients being treated for leukemia, cancer and other diseases.
Coastal Bend College – Alice Campus is located at 704 Coyote Trail. For more information about the upcoming blood drive, contact Melanie Reeves at (361) 664-2981 Ext. 3044 or mreeves@coastalbend.edu.
