Coastal Bend College announces the cancellations, closures and changes to schedulesdue to inclement weather:
- CBC Kingsville Campus is closed (Feb. 2) due to power outages.
- U.S. Congressman Rubén Hinojosa’s Roundtable Discussion is cancelled (Feb. 2).
- A presentation by Blake Hastings, Vice President in Charge of the San Antonio Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is cancelled (Feb. 2).
- TJCSGA 2011 Community College Day in Austin. [Coastal Bend College staff and students will not travel to or attend this event because of the weather. At this moment, the overall Austin event is not cancelled.] (Feb. 2)
- Coastal Bend College Foundation Board Meeting (Feb. 3) is rescheduled for Feb. 24 at 4 p.m.
- John Blackburn concert (Feb. 4) at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Beeville has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.
There are no other campus closures to report at this time. Alice, Beeville and Pleasanton Campuses are open today (Feb. 2). Information about campus closures will be available through local radio and television stations and on the Coastal Bend College website, www.coastalbend.edu.
