SEARCHers plan national parks tour

Coastal Bend College Continuing Education SEARCH (Seniors Engaging in Arts, Recreation, Culture and Hyperspace) will take a tour of national parks July 10-21, 2011. The tour includes Scottsdale, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Salt Lake City, Grand Teton, Yellowstone National Parks, Old Faithful, Sheridan, Bighorn Mountains, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial. 12 days and 17 meals are included.

 An information meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 11 a.m. to noon at Coastal Bend College Lott-Canada Facility, located at 900 West Corpus Christi St. (Hwy 59 W) in Beeville. A slide show about features of the trip will be shown during the meeting.

 Proceeds from SEARCH trips go into a scholarship fund for continuing education students. SEARCHers will travel to Ireland in March 2011.
