CBC offers free dental services in Beeville
At any age, it is important to have a daily oral health routine to help prevent cavities and periodontal disease. In fact, 75 percent of Americans have some form of periodontal disease, according to American Dental Hygiene Association. Regular visits to a dental Hygienist could detect early signs of the disease, as well as symptoms of many lifethreatening illnesses which appear in the mouth.
Coastal Bend College wants to increase public awareness of the importance of educating the entire family on the situations which impact oral health by offering free dental care to the community during the month of October. Dental hygienists will see patients on Mondays and Wednesdays for the remainder of the month at no cost to the patient.
Coastal Bend College Dental Hygiene clinic in Beeville takes patients at the following appointment times:
Mondays at 8:30 a.m., noon, 2:30 p.m., and 5 p.m.
Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Services available include teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments, dental x-rays, site – specific antimicrobial placement and pit/fissure sealants placement.
