CBC Continuing Education SEARCH, Seniors Engaging in Arts, Recreation, Culture and Hyperspace, will travel to Ireland next year for the Shades of Ireland tour. The 10-day excursion, March 10-19, 2011, includes visits to Dublin, Kilkenny, the House of Waterford Crystal, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Limerick, Cliffs of Moher and Galway.
An information meeting will be held next week, Sept. 29, 4-5 p.m. at Coastal Bend College Lott-Canada Facility, located at 900 West Corpus Christi St. (Hwy 59 W) in Beeville. A slide show about features of the trip will be shown during the meeting.
Proceeds from SEARCH trips go into a scholarship fund for continuing education students. SEARCHers will travel to national parks in July 2010.
