Coastal Bend College to hold soccer, volleyball try-outs

Coastal Bend College Cougars are recruiting for men’s soccer and women’s volleyball with try-outs for both on May 23, 1-4 p.m. on the main campus located at 3800 Charco Road in Beeville.

 Try-outs are offered to interested, graduating high school seniors who are serious about playing college athletics and who have not signed with other colleges or universities. Coastal Bend College is a Division I National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) college that competes in Region 14. The Cougars 2010 Soccer Team and Lady Cougars 201 Volleyball Team travel for games and host home games and tournaments in Beeville.   

 Coastal Bend College Athletic Department will host softball try-outs for the Lady Cougars 2011 Softball Team on May 16 at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Women’s Softball Field in Veterans Memorial Park, located at 351 W. Bypass or FM 673 in Beeville.

 Coastal Bend College student athletes are eligible to apply for dorm scholarships.
