Coastal Bend College Lady Cougars to hold softball try-outs

Coastal Bend College Athletic Department will host softball try-outs for the Lady Cougars 2011 Softball Team on May 16 at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Women’s Softball Field in Veterans Memorial Park, located at 351 W. Bypass or FM 673 in Beeville. 

 Try-outs are offered to interested, graduating high school senior girls who are serious about playing college softball and who have not signed with other colleges or universities. Coastal Bend College is a Division I National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) college that competes in Region 14. 

Men’s soccer try-outs will be held on May 23, 1-4 p.m. at the Coastal Bend College Main Campus at 3800 Charco Road in Beeville. Coastal Bend College Athletic Department will be hosting a volleyball try-outs on May 23, 1-4 p.m. at Coastal Bend College — Main Campus in the Marecek Physical Fitness Center located at 3800 Charco Road in Beeville.

 Coastal Bend College student athletes are eligible to apply for dorm scholarships.
